Tom Buesgens has been volunteering since the beginning of the HEART ministry. Tom and his family had been attending Hosanna and visiting the prayer room with daughter Rachel who was sick. Tony (HEART Director) was on the prayer team and the two met there; soon after Tom and his son Taylor traveled to Staten Island, NY to work on his first HEART project.
Tom uses his construction background and passion for praying with families to make a big impact on all of the projects that he works on. Whether he’s doing assessments with families, looking at jobs, or meeting people and making sure they feel heard; he loves to bring hope to the situation.
