Lyle Tollefsrud has volunteered for the HEART Ministry and the Heartland Outlet for many years. He began his service at HEART in the fall of 2018 and then started in the Heartland Outlet a year later in 2019.
He has TWO favorite parts of the ministry, and they include 1) seeing the success of the Outlet and seeing the money being put to such wonderful use in HEART, and 2) volunteering on the floor when the store is open. He loves working with our customers. Many repeat customers have even become "friends."
It all started with a tour of the warehouse; he said it gave him the perspective he needed to devote his time on Tuesday evenings to assist with general sorting and the Giveaway Nights.
